Language(s)	Our language is common (English), Language Barrier is to be played as broken English. RP language attachments /babblers, translators/ are considered unnecessary and disturbing in roleplay and not allowed.

Mary Sue	Term to describe a fictional character representing the idealized projection of the author’s self. Not urgently female. There are male Mary Sues as well. They learn skills and super abilities in an instant or ” suddenly ” find out to have them ( when needed) ,instead of developping their characters over time. They steal the spotlight (turning attention on themselves), are to find in every plot, always come out unharmed, fear nothing, are ignorant to consequences and (for their character) unpleasant details, or cry with every occasion (begging for attention). They are typically ” the prey ” or ” the hero ” of a situation. They tend to bend rules and situations to their favor and are very good at godmoding, meta and powergaming. In short: they are no fun to play with and a pain for admins..

Meter Color	Leave at Default white. No other color acceptable
Meter Combat	We use the Revolt meter. Its optional and you get it for free at the Devices in the Lobby and at the Ship.
Mining	You can mine for Ore in the mines and tunnels.
Mist	A concealing mist began to close in to protect the Isle from the world – or perhaps the world from the magic of the Isle.
Mix Breeds	They have to be realistic. Pure breeds are preferred. Some races cannot breed.
Multiple Characters	Only one character is allowed per Second Life account. Playing multiple characters on a single account is confusing to other roleplayers. Use of alts (additional SL accounts), is common. Players found to be using alts as a means to metagame will be dealt with accordingly.

Nexus	It is said in the tales of the history of Dee that the Isle holds a strategic position upon the surface of the world, being formed at a place where the barrier between the regular physical dimensions and the magical plane is thin. We call the passage between those dimensions the Nexus.
Non Combatants	Also Pacifists. Read the Combat and Violence rules anyway, they apply to you the same as for everyone.

Paragraphing	A form of emoting where posts are extremely long, descriptive narratives. In bad case containing a lot of Meta-information that others cannot react to (and if they -accidentally- do, they metagame). While we respect a far range of posting styles, we want to encourage to lean in length and style towards the most common used style of third person in present tense, where post length is only as long as needed to give all required information and as short as possible.
Period	The time period of Isle of Dee is generally considered to be loosely ‘Tudor’ or ‘Medieval’ of the 1400′s century
Pixie	One of various Fae beings.
Post order	Ideally all players in a scene post in turn, one after another. Allow each person in the scene to make their contribution at their own pace, and allow time for them to read and understand what others have written. Patience is required. Can be loosened in large crowds,or where main protagonists are clear leading a scene. Sensibility required.

RP Academy	Roleplay is not the same everywhere. There are things you need to know about Roleplay in Dee that will help you to add positively to the experience of every player. The Flood	Once upon a time the waters of Dee(p) began to rage once again, flooding the Isle in a devastating thunderstorm; Ships were set afloat, and elven scouts announced to have found land nearby; the survivors boarded the ships and fled the sinking island.
